== What is MATLAB? ==
MATLAB (Matrix Laboratory) is a proprietary multi-paradigm programming language and numeric computing environment developed by [https://www.mathworks.com/ MathWorks]. MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages.

Tulane’s expanded [https://www.mathworks.com/ MathWorks] license includes access to MATLAB, Simulink, and 48 toolboxes for both on-campus and at-home software installations.
